i think the highlight of my cs classes thus far was last semester when my microprocessor engineering instructor ran and grabbed a furby from his office so he could show us an example of an embedded controller (6051, in case you were wondering).
he swung it around and it said, "wheeeeeee!" and then it started sneezing.
then he started talking about the controller. after a minute or so, the furby said, "borrrrrrring!" and went to sleep.
